Arcadia Bluffs is proud to announce that PGA Professional Zack Chapin has been awarded the PGA of America’s highest award for merchandising, The 2017 National Merchandiser of the Year for Resorts. Zack has been awarded the Michigan Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year for the past three years in a row, and this year was selected as the National award winner among the 41 other PGA Section award winners. Once awarded the Michigan Section winner, Chapin went through a series of interviews with the PGA National Award selection committee, as well as submittal of a detailed merchandising thesis which was reviewed and challenged by the panel of experts at the PGA. Chapin has served as the Head PGA Professional at Arcadia Bluffs since 2009, and oversees all golf operations.
“We are extremely proud of Zack, and excited that he has been recognized by his peers for his talents and expertise in the area of merchandising,” says President & COO of Arcadia Bluffs William Shriver. “Zack personifies what a PGA Professional should be and serves as a great role model for the many assistant professionals that have worked for him over the years. Not only in merchandising, but his overall leadership in our golf operations.”
Zack will be officially recognized and presented his National award at the PGA of America Annual Meetings in Dallas, Texas in November.
