Hole 8

Hole 8

This shortest of the par three’s looks unassuming, however it has many defenses. First being the prevailing headwind forcing you to be brave and take enough club. Second is the predominant false front that will repel any shots not cresting its top leaving an awkward uphill pitch to a green above eye level. Finally, the green itself. With two distinct levels, you’ll want to be sure and place yourself on the proper one for the best chance at holing a putt. The green is also protected on three sides with bunkers.

Caddy Tip: This green has a false front, so club accordingly. Shots landing left of green center will funnel to the left following the slope that runs through the green.
